Your reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of your deposit. You will receive an email confirming its receipt and validation.

The deposit and/or payment should be sent to my name, Mr. MICLET Mickaël, at the following address:

Cancellation:

If you decide to cancel your participation:

– Less than 30 days before the service, your deposit will be retained, but it’s usually possible to reschedule for another date within the same season.

– More than 30 days before the service, your deposit will be fully refunded.

Cancellation / Rescheduling by the Fishing Instructor-Guide:

The fishing instructor-guide may decide to cancel, reschedule, or modify a service if climatic, weather, and water conditions do not allow for fishing under safe and optimal conditions

whether for safety reasons, to ensure the quality of the service, and/or to practice fishing while respecting fish and aquatic environments.

Rescheduling:

If for any reason the participant needs to reschedule the course date, it is possible with my agreement and if we find a mutually convenient date during the same season.

Rescheduling this date less than 30 days beforehand is not possible. In this case, your deposit will be retained in full.

Accident, Illness:

– Regarding the participant:

To justify a last-minute rescheduling or cancellation due to an accident or illness, a medical/insurance certificate will be requested to process your rescheduling/cancellation.

In the case of rescheduling, we can find a later date during the same season.

For cancellations less than 30 days in advance, the refund of the deposit will depend on the severity of the circumstances.

– Regarding the fishing instructor-guide:

Due to an accident or illness preventing the fishing instructor-guide from fulfilling their service, a later date will be offered to replace the previously booked date. Otherwise, the fishing instructor-guide (myself) commits to refunding the full service fee (or deposit) if a suitable date cannot be agreed upon.

Insurance and Safety:

Insurance:

As a professional Fishing Instructor-Guide affiliated with the French Federation of Fishing Instructor-Guides, I hold professional liability insurance that covers me in the scope of my activities.

Participants must have their own civil liability insurance covering them during recreational fishing activities in a natural environment.

A form will be sent to you or must be completed before the course begins to address safety questions and ensure the smooth running of the session.

The fishing instructor-guide does not cover client travel; each service starts at the fishing or introductory location.

Safety:

The participant agrees to be in good physical condition, allowing them to participate in a sport fishing course in a natural environment.

The participant agrees to bring appropriate clothing for the current weather and terrain conditions, as well as a minimum of spare clothes.

They must also accept and respect the safety conditions communicated by the instructor.

The fishing instructor-guide may at any time decide to cancel/reschedule or modify the course location for climatic, weather, or safety reasons.

Fishing License:

A fishing license is a regulatory requirement, even for an introductory day.

By booking a fishing service with a guide, the participant agrees to have paid for their fishing license and fishing taxes for the region where the course takes place.

You can obtain an annual, weekly, or daily fishing license on the website www.cartedepeche.fr or at a fishing store. If needed, I can assist you with these steps.

Ethics and Respect for Fish:

Ethics and Conduct:

During courses with me, all fish caught must be released. The aim of a guided fishing course is to acquire skills and to learn or improve a fishing technique, or to gain knowledge of a river or lake. Under no circumstances should the guide’s service be used to catch fish for the personal consumption of participants.

Respect for Fish:

Once caught, and after a brief souvenir photo, the fish will be quickly released back into the water to ensure their survival and return to their natural habitat in good condition.

The use of a landing net is recommended for fishing to release fish back into the water in the best possible conditions.

Image Rights:

Media may be used, reproduced, communicated, and modified for all relevant purposes, and may be utilized for communication and marketing related to the fishing instructor-guide’s professional activity.

Regarding media use: During your course, you will see me taking many photos and/or videos.

Each participant agrees to grant me image rights for photos and videos taken during the course. Otherwise, they must inform me at the beginning of the course.

The participant therefore grants Mr. Miclet Mickaël permission to use all or part of the images and videos taken during the course for his communication (blog, website, newsletter, etc.) and marketing materials related to his activity. For use by a third party (e.g., fishing magazine, catalog), a written agreement will be drafted and initialed.

In return, I commit to providing you with all images/videos (upon request) and ensuring that the use of media does not in any way infringe on the privacy of my participants.
