Coq de Leon Substitute Indio and Pardo

Coq de Leon Substitute
Coq de Leon is a special type of rooster from the Leon region in Spain.
You’ll find two main groups of roosters: Indio and Pardo.
These feathers from both families must be very shiny on the front, and this brilliance should be maintained on the back of the feather.

On PARDO feathers, the spots must be clearly visible on both sides.

Indio is generally equivalent to unspotted feather pigmentation.

Indio and Pardo are used to tie fantastic flies.
The fibers are used to make fantastic tails and hackles for dry flies and wet flies.
The feather fibers are transparent when you check them in the sun, elastic, and very shiny.

We offer the perfect Coq de Leon substitute; we call them substitutes because they are not from the Leon region in northwest Spain.

Details:
– Coq de Leon feather substitutes are qualitatively superior.
– We have 2 types of feathers available. Normal feathers aren’t very long, but the fibers are almost all the same length. Saddle feathers are longer.
– The shape of a normal Coq de Leon feather is more rounded towards the tip.
– Coq de Leon feathers are used not only for tails, but also for tying wings and hackles (Spanish style).
