POWER PIKE lines are based on our famous Big Daddy lines. Like its predecessor, the POWER PIKE features a 10 m head. We shortened the front taper and lengthened the rear taper compared to the old Big Daddy line. That means this line delivers even more powerful turnover for big, wind-resistant flies.
The coating is super smooth and supple, with zero memory—even in cold weather. Thanks to its fairly short head, the POWER PIKE is a favorite with anglers fishing from a float tube. The low-stretch core helps you feel takes and set the hook. It also transfers casting energy better than traditional cores. Ready-made loops on both ends make it easy to attach backing and a leader.

POWER PIKE sinking lines use our Sliding Density™ concept, where density gradually increases toward the tip of the line. This applies to all lines except SloMo and intermediate, which are classic SloMo and intermediate lines.
