Fly Fishing Instructor Guide
in Auvergne

An passionate since my youngest age angler.

I have been actively involved in fly fishing clubs for many years.

A family man, I enjoy connecting and sharing with others.

From a young age, I discovered river fishing (minnows, trout) and then stillwater fishing (fry, carp, predators…).

Around fifteen, I self-taught fly fishing for bleak and chub on the Cher river near Montluçon.

I arrived in Clermont-Ferrand for my studies, then for my work in aeronautics. In Puy-de-Dôme and more broadly in Auvergne, the rivers are rich in salmonids, and fly fishing has become my way of life.

I joined the fly fishing club of the Puy-de-Dôme fishing federation school upon its creation in 2002.

Many fishing trips shared with colleagues, federal technicians, and other people who became friends, who provided me with a lot of knowledge about the environment and the regions.

In 2008, I seized the opportunity to prepare for and obtain my BPjeps (recreational fishing option) to become a fishing instructor guide, initially with the idea of being qualified to teach young people through the federal fishing school.

I joined a club of the French Fly and Lure Fishing Federation (FFPML, now FFPS). From then on, I decided to explore competition, achieving respectable results in all disciplines (rivers, lakes, fly tying).

Building on this experience, I started organizing friendly competitions, or those integrated into the FFPML National Championship.

My desire to share is ever-present, which earned me a prominent spot at the largest French fishing show (CNPL), where I organize a fly tying discovery workshop with the participation of club members, open to everyone, especially the youngest.

Despite the results and the wonderful encounters made, I don’t have a highly developed competitive spirit; I prefer meeting people and sharing experiences.

So I turned to travel for new, equally rich adventures in various countries, with a special fondness for the Caribbean and extreme fishing, such as Red Tuna in the Mediterranean, always with a fly.

I enjoy returning to other types of fishing (lures, coarse fishing, etc.), as if to revisit the basics or stay informed about current trends, and even a small friendly multi-discipline competition from time to time for the pleasure of sharing and making new connections.

My head is full of projects to offer you a very comprehensive service.

The adventure continues now, with you!
